A sacred space of healing, harmonization, and a return to life to find our own origin. Hand-seeded by the late Taita Miguel and brought to life by his family in the Sibundoy Valley to share with the world.
— The Muchavisoy Family
Vinyiabtumayokan translates to the Winds of the Putumayo. The wind is the breath of the territory, the unseen spirit that moves through the valley. It is the vital force that cleanses, harmonizes, and awakens us so we may trace our steps back to our true origin.
We are not building an institution; we are raising a communal Tambo. To step into this space is to step into the warmth of our hearth. Every wall and firepit is an extension of our lineage, welcoming you to sit with us as Kabunga—one of us.
What is shared here transcends transaction. Through the sacred medicine, traditional chants, and communal fire, we do not offer a service. We offer a direct transmission of life, inviting you to remember who you are.
"We walk as one body. The work of protecting the Kamëntsá cosmovision belongs to the entire circle." — The Muchavisoy Family
In Honor & Memory • Transcended as a highly impactful indigenous leader (2021)
As the anchor of our lineage, Taita Miguel spent his life preserving the medicine logs, traditional melodies, and linguistic frameworks of the Kamëntsá. Though he passed away in 2021, he remains celebrated as one of the territory's most impactful indigenous leaders. His lifelong vision continues to dictate the physical boundaries and spiritual intentions of the communal Tambo.
Following the physical transition of his father in 2021, Johan Muchavisoy Jacanamijoy stepped forward to carry the spiritual mantle and operational future of our lineage. Walking directly in the footsteps of Taita Miguel, he serves as a dedicated guardian of sacred medicine and traditional Kamëntsá cosmovision.
Today, he anchors the family's minga, transforming ancestral wisdom into the physical reality of our communal Tambo. For him, leading this initiative is a living extension of the medicine itself—an open invitation ensuring that all global allies are received genuinely as Kabunga (one of us).
Acting as a logistical link between global allies and local traditions, Jasper translates the deep realities of the Sibundoy valley into structured communication. A close friend of the family acting as a digital and relational bridge. Jasper helps bring this project to life by shaping digital communication and fostering real-life connections, dedicated entirely to honoring and maintaining the family's authentic message.
Every contribution builds the foundation
Tejiendo la historia del territorio
To the colonizers, we did not know how to read or write books. They did not realize our weaving is our book. Every piece acquired here provides immediate support to Kamëntsá artisan families and builds a physical brick for the Vinyiabtumayokan center.
Every thread we weave is an act of peace. When you give, you are not just a donor; you are a co-creator of this territory.
Your name hand-carved into a permanent wooden art piece.
Personalized artisan beadwork bracelet.
Traditional Chumbe or hand-carved wood art.
When you contribute through our portal, your donation is initially processed securely by Donorbox and its underlying card processors (Stripe or PayPal). They automatically deduct standard transaction processing fees.
Because major payment platforms cannot deposit funds directly into Colombian bank accounts due to local banking restrictions, the net funds are automatically cleared from the platform directly into Jasper's European bank account (Germany/Belgium). Jasper acts as our trusted family friend and digital bridge, holding 100% of these project resources in safe custody.
To minimize international wire fees, funds are held securely in Europe and transferred to Colombia in large, optimized batches using direct exchange services like Wise. This method guarantees the family receives the highest possible conversion rate from Euros to Colombian Pesos (COP).
Once our safe custody account in Europe reaches our batch minimum, the funds are cleared directly to the family's account in Colombia. While the sole intention of these campaigns is to manifest the physical projects communicated here, the family retains absolute, uncompromised sovereignty to deploy these resources wherever they feel it is most urgently needed in the moment.
By making an offering of reciprocity to this project, you enter a circle of absolute trust. Because these funds are immediately transferred internationally and transformed directly into materials for the territory or community support, every offering is final and completely non-refundable.
We do not view indigenous families as corporate contractors; we honor and support their ancestral wisdom to distribute these resources with the fluidity that life and the territory demand at any given moment.
Your support directly safeguards the sacred heritage and structural presence of the Muchavisoy family.
